I’m back again to share the small things I’ve been doing for my recovery this week (w/c 15th Jan)
◊ Counselling was very productive this week. We covered a lot of ground, on topics such as anger, control, and acceptance. We also talked a fair bit about labels. That’s an idea for another post. *Thinks to self, must record these ideas*
◊ I was challenged by a very good blogging friend to be more spontaneous in my writing. Writing here feels so much easier now.
◊ I achieved a state of closure for something that has been very long-lasting and painful. I freed myself from one of my emotional traps.
◊ I practised my brand new, just learnt, beginner counselling skills in training even though I was terrified of doing so. The feedback was good
What small things have you been doing this week? I’d love to hear about it in the comments

Hi Linda,
Thanks for the link.
I’m happy to hear you’ve freed yourself from an emotional trap. Looking forward to following your progress.
Peter
Hey Peter, thanks so much for visiting!!
You’re welcome, that article came at exactly the right time for me, just when I’d experienced almost exactly the same as the author. Thank you for taking the time to visit and comment!
Congratulations on another week of progress, Linda.
That’s funny, I also have a very good blogging friend…
You already know about my own ‘acceptance’ but I’ve also begun clearing physical clutter from my life, pushing myself in to more store-based shopping situations (instead of buying everything online), I’m making a better effort to eat even a small evening meal each day and I’m slowly facing my fears of using the toilets at work, one day at a time.
Thank you Brandon!
Funny that, such a coincidence!
those are all awesome things to progress with!! Brilliant. Well done, you should be proud of yourself
keep at it
